How did you find psychology in school? Did you like it?
Oliver Louis Zangwill was ‘an influential British neuropsychologist. He was Professor of Experimental Psychology and Professor Emeritus respectively at the University of Cambridge from 1952 to 1981. Zangwill was educated at University College School, London, and then at the University of Cambridge, where he was a member of King’s College.’
According to the 800th Anniversary Portrait Book of Cambridge University, Zangwill was one of only four individuals so far who chaired Experimental Psychology at Cambridge. The other three were cognitive psychologist F. Bartlett, animal-learning theorist N.J. Mackintosh, and currently, behavioral neuroscientist T.W. Robbins.
Zangwill’s research interest were ‘particularly brain lateralization. He was interested in the links between research and treatment. The east Cambridgeshire and Fenland NHS Primary Care Trust honored him for his role in the development of care for patients with neurological disorders, by naming a research and treatment unit after him – the Oliver Zangwill Centre for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation.’

I took two psych courses in college, the intro course, and behavior modification. Fascinating stuff
That would be one smart set of fellows.

I think so too. Cognitive psychologist, animal learning theorist, and behavioral neuroscientist – a load of brains there.
So interesting–have never taken a class except a small section in High School.
I studied Psychology for one year, then I quitted and went to a trainingcollege for teachers. Interesting post! Thank you!

Psychology courses were always so interesting!
I never studied psychology, but find it fascinating to read new ideas, particularly in the field of mental health.
